• Chat messages: Until event is deleted or you delete messages
• Deleted account data: Archived for 7 years for legal compliance

• We send a verification email when you create an account with email/password
• Email verification is required to create events, RSVP, and participate in chats
• You can resend verification emails through the app
• Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In users are automatically verified (trusted providers)

8. Children's Privacy

EventMap is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Your data may be transferred to and stored in the United States (Firebase servers). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.
